Inkjet Printable Adhesive Vinyl - 1 SheetEach sheet is 8.5x11" and compatible with most desktop inkjet printers. This adhesive vinyl is ideal for creating your own custom designs, whether you're creating bumper stickers or window decals or even home decor items. The options are pretty limitless with this great product!This printable vinyl is intended for indoor and outdoor use. However, it is recommended that you apply laminate over the vinyl once your printed design has dried to extend the outdoor life of the design. We also sell the laminate that you can purchase from its own individual listing. The laminate is NOT required to use this vinyl unless you are applying the vinyl to a tumbler or other item that will be exposed to water. As stated above, it is recommended that you apply the laminate over the printed vinyl to extend the life of the design when used outdoors. The laminate will also help the design to resist scratches. Without the laminate the expected outdoor life is 6 months, with the laminate applied properly the expected outdoor life of the design is atleast double that.Inkjet Printable Adhesive Vinyl Specs:RECOMMENDATIONS:-Aqueous pigment inks for outdoor application.-Touch dry after less than 10 minutes depending on printer used.-For outdoor applications with pigment inks lamination with 25mm (1 inch) overlap is required.-For indoor applications with pigment inks use SOL GRAPHIC lamination with 25mm (1 inch) overlap for improved scratch resistance.-Protection with a self-adhesive cold laminating film (Hexis V700) is recommended, NOT SUITABLE FOR HOT LAMINATING OR ENCAPSULATING.-The surface aspect can be advantageously improved by applying the appropriate matte, satin or gloss laminate (type V700).-Optimum environment +10deg C to +30deg C (+50deg F to +86deg F) at 30 to 70% humidity.-Media resistant to exposure to water.-Optimum drying time before laminating or varnishing is 24 hours.-Adhesion is immediate and permanent (not re-positionable).-Very good adhesion on glass, steel, aluminium, PVC, melamine, except grained surfaces or acrylic paints.-In the case of painted substrates self-adhesive media must only be applied onto the undamaged original paintwork.
