The Mead company, formerly Westab, left here many years ago, but most natives of St Joseph know at least one, if not many people who worked there. I had 2 aunts and three cousins that worked there. They used to bring home big chief tablets and other Mead products for me to use at school.
This is the large regular size of the iconic big chief tablet. It measures 12"× 7 7/8" and has about 42 blank sheets of paper. Good condition with a couple of slightly bent corners on the cover. It kind of gives me chills, because these remind me of handwriting class-the Worst subject ever.
