Narrow, willowy leaves create dark green sheets around the gently peeling bark that gives off the illusion of stained glass, especially in winter months. Birch Bark Cherry Blossom Tree, botanical name Prunus serrula, is suited to USDA zones 5-9 and reaches a height/spread of 15 ft. to 20 ft. The flowers are creamy white, the thin narrow leaves dark green and the signature bark is a delightful copper/bronze.
