Extreme Protection for Extreme Demands
Extreme Protection Polyurethane is a water based interior NON-YELLOWING, Environmentally Safe Top Coat that is Super Hard, Super Clear and Super Easy to Use.
FEATURES:
- Scratch, Chemical, and Water Resistant
- Self-Levels
- Low Odor, Low V.O.C
- Added UV stabilizers will keep dyes and stains brilliant and will help protect colors from fading
- Dries crystal clear even over white finishes. Excellent for use as a chalk paint sealer.
- CrystaLac Top Coats can be used over thoroughly dried oil or water-based stains, shellac, lacquer, Polyurethane or Acrylic.
APPLICATION:
- Can be applied by either brushing or spraying (gravity feed or HVLP sprayer)
- It is not necessary to sand between each top-coat layer. (All CrystaLac Top Coats will bond to the prior coat.)
- If recoating over an old finish, scuff sand first and remove any surface contaminants such as dirt, waxes or polishes.
- Usually 3 to 5 coats are sufficient to produce a beautiful, protective finish. Use more if desired.
- Dry time is usually 30 min to 1 hour. Allow 2 to 4 hours before recoating.
- Do not use stearated sandpaper or tack cloths. Do Not freeze. Do Not apply below 60 degrees.
- Do not thin or clean with lacquer solvents or mineral spirits. Use soap and water for clean-up.
Coverage is approximately 400 to 500 sq. ft. per gallon.
CAUTION:
Keep out of reach of children! Do not ingest. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not breathe vapors. Use with adequate ventilation. When spraying or sanding, use an OSHA approved mask. V.O.C. is less than 1.4 lbs. per gallon.
DISPOSAL:
Consult your local sanitation department. Do not dump on the ground.

CrystaLac Brite Tone Instrument Finish is a super hard, scratch resistant, high solids clear finish with exceptional clarity. Of the CrystaLac line, this is by far the hardest and clearest finish. It will build to a high depth quickly due to the high solids content and will not leave a blue cast on dark exotic wood. Excellent for use on musical instruments, tables, bar tops, bowl turning and more. It adheres to wood, metal, and glass.
