KM-100 Combat Utility Knife: By the request of a member of Japan Ground Self-Defence Force, Junpei Makari has designed and produced this all purpose Utility knife with an emphasis on versatility that can handle various tasks, and portability and expandability of the sheath. It has a 5-inch non-glare black coated 440C spear point blade with a slightly concaved hollow ground body and thicker grinding toward to the blade tip for strength to prevent chipping. He believes the high Carbon and high Chromium SUS440C steel is an excellent choice for the hard use knives, because of a tough resistance to chipping and breaking as well as an ease of re-sharpening. By attaching a ring to the rear end of the handle, it can be quickly taken out of the sheath and used. The handle is thinly finished, and the shape is designed assuming the usage like holding a firearm such as a rifle or a hand gun while holding a knife. It comes with Kydex sheath covered with Camo 500D SQUADRON Cordura Nylon that has slits to attach MOLLE compatible pouches, and Malice Clip that can be attached on both sides in different angles.
