I’ve had a number of requests for the metal needles. These 6 metal packing weaving needles by John James are convenient to weave in and out of some tight spaces, such as those last few picks of weft at the end of a swatch. The eye can easily accommodate a 3/8 wide ribbon or piece of fabric. Needle Specs Needle measures 6’’ long with 1/8’’ eye. 1/8’' tapered point starts 4’’ from the end of the needle. Just under 1/2 ounce. The video shows how to use this needle. Unlike a straight needle, it requires shifting the needle from side to side to pick up the threads. The video has no audio.
