Our metal detectable self adhesive tape is a paper/foil laminate construction coated with a hot melt adhesive. The construction is a 60 gsm machine-glazed, wood-free paper laminated to a 7u aluminum foil, which provides the metal detectability of the tape. The adhesive is a high coat weight rubber based hot melt designed to give superior initial tack on moist, rough or difficult surfaces. The components of the adhesive comply with FDA regulation 175.105 on indirect food contact. The glassine liner is designed for use on automatic applicators if required. This metal detectable tape is suitable for a variety of food processing applications such as labeling (e.g. Quality Control), securing items where regular tapes are not allowed, packaging products where regular packaging tapes represent a foreign body risk, light engineering applications and also asset management such as labeling machinery or tools. By using metal detectable tape you are displaying due diligence in the prevention of foreign body contamination. Detectable Self Adhesive Tape

This stick pen with clip has a body that is produced from a specially formulated polypropylene mix, containing a non-toxic, detectable additive. It is detectable and rejectable by most metal detection systems, and x-ray detectable. The body is shatter proof, and will not splinter into small segments, making it ideal for food processing application. Manufactured in accordance with FDA regulations CFR 21 177.1520 olefin polymers.
