Here are some before and after cleaning pictures of some aluminum tokens that were a little roached due to decay. I used a small plastic or glass containers to place one token at a time in. Submerged it, let it sit for periods of about 5 minutes before checking on it each time. I used a discarded toothbrush - to brush each side every 5 minutes, a wooden toothpick - for a little more elbow grease on the tough areas, nitrile gloves, and a well ventilated area etc..
