This super strong, flexible, pre-waxed braided beading thread is made from gel-spun polyethylene, one of the strongest fiber cords per diameter ever created. The permanent black color is not a coating or dye and will not rub off. Beadworkers and beadstringers will find that this new product feels and works better than the finest bead thread, yet is as strong as jewelry wire. Most beads will not cut this product. It does not stretch and knots easily. Similar to size D Nymo.

FIRELINE: This is a microfused, braided bead thread consisting of Dyneema, a gel-spun polyethylene which is known as the strongest fiber, per diameter, ever created. It has an unbelievably high tensile strength and has been recommended in numerous how-to articles on beadworking. DETAILS: Made in the USA, our Fireline is 6lb. test and comes in a crystal color. The cord measures .006” (.15mm) in diameter. The 15 yards are wound on a spool that is secured with a clear plastic clip.
