Who isn't familiar with the history of Frankincense & Myrrh, two very fragrant resins from two gnarly olive like trees that grow in the Arabian Peninsula, India and Africa. We haven't offered this scent combo before, because the essential oils are quite expensive. There is a huge international demand and the trees have to be injured with an incision to secrete their resin to heal the cut. It is a fine balance to harvest the resins without killing the trees. Even so, the trees may head towards extinction even though some massive efforts for preservation are underway. We really like this scent combination and so we were excited to find two fragrance oils (phtalate free) that are very true to the real scent.
