Soaps are salts of fatty acids, formed by the reaction of fats (vegetable or animal). The principle used in the production of soap can be sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) - then as a result of the reaction we obtain "hard" sodium soaps, in the form of cubes, or potassium hydroxide (potassium soaps)
