We use the #003 size for everything in our workshop as it provides the perfect balance of small size and high strength

We use the #003 size for everything in our workshop as it provides the perfect balance of small size and high strength. It works well with 0.6 or 0.8mm threads. The 3/0 is a larger size perfect for 1mm and thicker threads, or if you need a sturdier needle on thiner threads/projects.
You will almost certainly lose these before they break or have any issues. We have a few needles in the shop that are reaching 10 years of age.
