Emerald tree boas (Corallus caninus) are medium to large arboreal snakes native to the Guyana and Basin areas of South America. They prefer lowland tropical rainforests for habitat, spending most of their time in the trees, with occasional trips down to the forest floor. There are two types of emerald tree boa.
