The listing is for a combination of ONE Medium size Yarn Swift and ONE Ball Winder (YBW-B). The medium size yarn swift can hold skeins up to 6-ft in circumference and is made of solid birch wood. It fits edges up to 1 3/4 thick. The ball winder is hand-operated and made of ABS plastic. It has a capacity of 4 oz and can be clamped to an object with a thickness up to 1 1/2. The craftsmanship on these winders is superior.

This yarn ball winder (Model YBW-M) makes center-pull yarn balls with a capacity of about 7 oz. The clamp-on base allows it to be firmly fixed at the edges of tables, chairs, benches, or any other convenient location. The maximum thickness of the table that this can clamp on to is about 1 3/4. It is best to be used with a swift yarn winder (Umbrella or Amish style, both available under Stanwood Needlecraft brand names).
