This solid brass wheel marking gauge is the newest installment from Narex Tools in the Czech Republic. The off center or eccentric placement of the beam in the head provides a larger registration surface and keeps the gauge from rolling off your bench. The 1-1/2” diameter head is precision machined solid, polished brass. The 7-1/2” long x 5/16” beam is polished stainless steel with metric and imperial graduation marks.

This accurate center marker is a precision aluminum die casting with a steel scoring blade. The knife-edged blade will mark the center of any square or round piece (up to 6 across) by setting the material in the marker, tapping it with a mallet, rotating it a quarter turn, and tapping it again. The result is two score lines that intersect at the exact center. Guaranteed to be accurate to 1/12 of a degree. Comes drilled and countersunk for mounting near your lathe.
