Early 19th Century Chinese Nickel Water Pipe for Smoking

A nickel brass water pipe with peach design. The water pipe was used to smoke opium. The opium would be placed in the lidded well and the fumes were inhaled through the pipe. The stamp on the interior lid might be the maker's mark.
