Black They are a line of pens and highlighters made by Pilot that are heat erasable. Frixion pens make a crisp, clear mark which goes on smoothly and easily with no skipping. After quilting, you simply steam the ink lines away with a hot iron. The Pilot company maintains that Frixion pens were not designed to be used on fabric. Should marks stay, Amodex Ink & Stain remover can be used successfully. I personally have used these pens for years and have never had a problem at all. Caution: The marks could come back when exposed to extreme cold. For example some have shared that quilts being transported in the cargo compartment of planes have had the marks come back. The cargo compartment of planes can get very cold!
