Rupes LK900E/US/STD Mille Standard Tool The RUPES Bigfoot LK900E MILLE Gear Driven Dual Action Polisher is the newest and most versatile member of the BigFoot line of polishers! The Rupes Bigfoot Mille Polisher is a Gear Driven machine for automotive detailing that delivers the power of a rotary; the safety of an orbital; it is easy to learn and use, and is ergonomically friendly! The Rupes Bigfoot Mille is a versatile choice when paint correcting multiple panel shapes and sizes. The RUPES Mille features a clockwise rotational movement – a design most requested by users and is unique to RUPES, as well as a wide assortment of new, innovative features.The Rupes Bigfoot Mille LK900E is the first gear-driven (fixed pattern forced rotation) polisher to be engineered with a clockwise rotational movement. This clockwise rotation is a more natural movement for the user allowing for better control of the tool, and when combined with the 14 orbits per revolution ratio, the Mille becomes not only powerful and easy to use but will not cause excessive fatigue for the operator. The all-new variable speed dial on the Mille provides the ability to adjust speeds for specific applications. The dial is larger, easier to read, and is positioned ideally for effortless adjustment during the polishing process. The addition of a small rubber guard directly above the speed dial helps prevent damage to the sensitive electronics underneath and prevents the tool from rolling over when placed on a bench or cart between uses. In addition to the new speed control dial is a newly designed progressive trigger. The new trigger acts as a throttle, delivering power in a linear fashion that allows operators to control speeds through the desired speed range and effortlessly fine-tune the speed by simply pulling or releasing the trigger. The new RUPES Bigfoot LK900E MILLE is equipped with a heavy-duty 9 meter (29.5 feet) long cord with the proper AWG rating. By eliminating the need for extension cords or changing outlets, the Mille is more efficient saving you steps and setup time. The RUPES Bigfoot MILLE Deluxe Kit includes unique compounds specifically engineered for the Mille Polisher. These special formulas provide sustained pad lubrication that is required because of the high stress caused by the high-speed movement and orbit rotation that could break down other compounds too easily resulting in rough movement and unpredictable results. Like the rest of the RUPES line of compounds, the MILLE compounds are color-coded according to the color of the pad that should be used. We recommend using the foam RUPES Mille Pads. They are designed to take advantage of the Milles gear driven power. The RUPES Wool Pads also work well when you need a heavier correction. Microfiber pads are not recommended for use with the Mille.
