Tips%20for%20using%20our%20mold%3A%20Directions%20for%20use%3A%20Allow%20soap%20to%20set-up%20completely%20before%20trying%20to%20release%20from%20mold.%20Using%20fingertips%2C%20gently%20pull%20the%20sides%20of%20mold%20away%20from%20the%20soap%20until%20you%20see%20air%20pockets%20forming.%20Flip%20mold%20over%20and%20firmly%2C%20but%20gently%20push%20down%20on%20the%20mold%20until%20the%20soap%20drops%20out%20of%20mold.Pouring%20temperatures%20should%20not%20exceed%20145%20degrees%20F.%20Pouring%20above%20these%20temperatures%20may%20warp%20or%20damage%20the%20mold.Mold%20tips%20for%20cold%20process%20soap%3ADo%20not%20use%20oil%20in%20the%20molds%2C%20it%20will%20make%20the%20CP%20stick%20more%20because%20the%20traced%20soap%20wants%20to%20grab%20onto%20the%20oils.When%20you%20get%20a%20new%20mold%2C%20wash%20it%20in%20warm%20soapy%20water%2C%20rinse%20and%20dry%20with%20a%20soft%20towel%20and%20buff%20it.Use%20borax%20in%20the%20water%20before%20you%20add%20the%20lye.%20Add%202%20tsp%20of%20Borax%20for%20every%206%20oz%20of%20water%2C%20stir%20until%20it's%20dissolved%20and%20then%20add%20your%20lye%20to%20it.%20This%20will%20firm%20up%20the%20CP%20and%20make%20releasing%20it%20a%20breeze.If%20the%20top%20part%20of%20the%20CP%20is%20hard%20and%20the%20bottom%20is%20mushy%2C%20it%20might%20not%20have%20had%20a%20full%20trace.If%20the%20CP%20sticks%20in%20the%20mold%2C%20do%20not%20force%20it%20out%20but%20instead%20put%20the%20whole%20mold%20into%20the%20freezer%20for%2030%20minutes%2C%20take%20it%20out%20and%20let%20the%20plastic%20mold%20come%20to%20room%20temperature%20(about%202%20minutes).%20Put%20a%20towel%20on%20the%20counter%20and%20turn%20the%20mold%20over%20on%20the%20towel%2C%20now%20put%20your%20fingers%20under%20the%20mold%20and%20gently%20pull%20the%20sides%20of%20the%20mold%20to%20allow%20air%20in%20and%20then%20with%20your%20thumbs%20on%20top%20of%20the%20mold%2C%20press%20as%20you%20go%20around%20the%20mold.%20You%20should%20see%20the%20air%20releasing%20it%20from%20the%20mold.
