This refractory cement by Rutland can be used to set, coat, or repair firebrick that has been damaged. It is an extremely effective sealant for masonry-to-masonry joints that are less than 1/4 thick and can also seal air and gas leaks around coal or ash pit doors. Once the cement is heat cured it will withstand temperatures up to 2000anddeg; F. The tub contains pre-mixed cement for convenient application. The cement may be painted after it is dry.
