This is the original standard straight-stitch presser foot attachment for most vintage Singer Sewing Machines, including the Singer Featherweight 221 and 222K
This is the standard straight-stitch presser foot included with most all vintage Singer Sewing Machines, including the Singer Featherweight 221 and 222K.  If you have a Singer Featherweight then you will need to select low shank as the style of your sewing machine model.  This presser foot is for straight-stitch only.  Do not try to zigzag stitch (if using on a zigzag machine) using this presser foot. LOW SHANK:  fits the Singer Featherweight 221, 222K and all low, vertical shank Sewing Machines (i.e. 15, 27, 28, 66, 99, 185, 127, 128, 192, 201, 206, 237, 306, 319, 320, 328, as well as many other brands besides Singer)The correct term for the attachment foot is presser foot, but occasionally we have herd a misnomer of pressured foot, probably because of the downward pressure that is applied from the internal presser bar spring. Click here for the Featherweight parts information.
