Using Smooth-On’s exclusive “V-Polymer ” technology, VytaFlex urethane rubbers offer superior physical and performance properties for casting concrete (and other things too). Vacuum degassing is not necessary and VytaFlex rubbers cure with negligible shrinkage to a durable rubber that will last in production. VytaFlex mold rubbers work especially well for casting pigmented / colored concrete. Molds made with VytaFlex Series urethanes will render accurate and uniform colored castings.

Mold Star rubbers are easy to use platinum silicones which are mixed 1A:1B by volume (no weighing scale necessary). Mold Star silicones feature relatively low viscosities and vacuum degassing is not required for most applications. The pot life of Mold Star 30 is 45 minutes and 6 hour cure time. Mold Star silicones cure to soft, strong rubbers which are tear resistant and exhibit very low long term shrinkage.
