Antibacterial, antiviral and anti-fungal, it is a concentrated, multipurpose household disinfectant.  TIMELESS Thieves works well as a natural mouthwash, or can be used routinely, especially in cold and flu season, as effective immune support.  Invigorating spicy fragrance.  Available in personal use sizes and bulk sizes. Simple uses for TIMELESS Thieves Oil around the house Air Purification: Diffuse for a powerful air purifier. Diffuse for up to 2 hours at a time, twice daily. Avoid diffusing around pets or sensitive individuals. Dishes : Put in a few drops in your dishwater or dishwasher to thoroughly clean dishes and eliminate odor. 3 All-purpose Cleaners: Place 5 - 10 drops in a 4 oz spray bottle, and fill with water for an all purpose disinfecting household cleaner. Avoid spraying in the eyes. For a different version of antimicrobial household cleaner, substitute 2 oz white vinegar for half the water in the recipe above. This works especially well on glass. For deeper cleaning, add 1-2 teaspoons of liquid castile soap to the first recipe. After cleaning, rinse with warm water. Laundry : Add 1-2 drops to laundry wash water or rinse water. Using TIMELESS Thieves for personal care Caution: Do not get TIMELESS Thieves Oil in the eyes or mucous membranes. Oral Care: Add 1-2 drops to 1 ounce of water for an effective all natural mouthwash. Do not swallow. Soak or rinse toothbrushes in the same solution. Immune Support: Add 1-2 drops of TIMELESS Thieves oil to 1 teaspoon natural lotion or carrier oil and apply to feet once or twice daily to boost immunity. (I do this regularly at bedtime in the winter months.) Nasal Congestion: Place 2-4 drops in a bowl of hot water and inhale the vapors. You may place a towel over the head as you lean over the bowl to maximize the effect. Fungal Infection: Persistent fungal or yeast patches on the skin or under the nails can be treated using 1-2 drops of TIMELESS Thieves blend in 1 tsp carrier oil, applied twice daily. Do NOT use this for vaginal yeast infection. Itchy Skin: Add 1-2 drops of TIMELESS Thieves oil to 1 teaspoon natural lotion or carrier oil and apply to itchy skin for symptomatic relief. Contains: Clove Bud (Eugenia carophyllata), Lemon (Citrus limonum), Cassia Bark (Cinnamomum aromaticum), Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus radiata), Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia), Rosemary (Rosemarinus officinalis) and Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) therapeutic essential oils. History: Various recipes for the classic thieves essential oil blend (commonly known as Thieves Vinegar) appear in many aromatherapy books. It is based on a popular legend about a group of thieves who stole from the sick and dead during the years of the Bubonic Plague in Europe. When the thieves were captured, they were offered leniency if they shared the secret of how they avoided contracting the infection. The men described a concoction of herbal extracts which they rubbed on themselves before committing their crimes. Over the years, various aromatherapists have developed a number of popular cleansing and immune support blends of essential oils made from the herbs the legendary thieves had used.
