This listing is for a mix of different types of moss and lichen. It will consist of an area of 12''x15' various types will be included such as: Reindeer moss, broom moss/mood moss, cushion moss, sphagnum hair cap, fern moss, pixie cups, British soldiers, carpet moss and more! (types will depend on availability, but will be a good selection of various types. All of my moss is harvested sustainably, I always leave behind more than I harvest to ensure it can replenish itself. I live in a beautiful remote area on Cape Breton Island. The forests are lush with so much moss, carpets of green goodness. Moss and Lichen is great for plant dressing, Orchids, Bonsai, terrariums, vivariums. Most types of moss hold several times it's weight in moisture. It releases moisture to the plants roots as it's needed. Also, helps hold onto the nutrients, so they aren't washed away when you water your plant. Great selection for creating a terrarium Not to mention if you have frogs, lizards, snakes, toads, hermit crabs they will love it too!
