The Univee Ring Clamp is constructed of a shallow-one piece V profiled flange retainer with 2 straps, which are used to locate and secure the selected closure type. Of light weight, fabricated construction and used within a wide range of industry sectors to pull and hold together two circular flanges, Ring Clamps are a lower cost clamping solution when compared to a V Clamp.Ring Clamps are stiffer with less allowance for opening and closing movement than V Band Clamps. They are normally used for applications where the clamp is infrequently removed once fitted.
