How We Do It: UNI focuses on worker organizing and regulatory action to create a better world for working people. UNI is fighting for jobs with social security and justice for all to improve workplaces and raise employment standards in the services and allied sectors. UNI has signed more than 50 global agreements with multinational companies to agree to workers’ rights standards for all of these companies’ workers worldwide. How We Got Here: UNI was created on January 1, 2000, by members of The Communications International, FIET the International Graphical Federation and the Media and Entertainment International.
