It creates a barrier on the skin to lock moisture in, without clogging pores. Beeswax provides antibacterial, anti-inflammatory properties, and beta-carotene (vitamin A) to skin, making it restorative to bruises, burns, and cracked skin, as well as atopic-dermatitis and psoriasis.
Mineral oil is highly emollient and occlusive, meaning it softens skin and seals in moisture, without clogging pores.
