Designed for one-handed operation, these clamps apply force on one edge of panel material. An Acme-threaded screw drives the pivoting jaw pad against the edge, while a pair of spring-loaded cams grips firmly against the perpendicular faces of the panel. The cams rotate to accommodate a range of panel thicknesses (3/8 to 1 9/16 for the small clamp; 3/8 to 3 1/8 for the large), and are lined with a synthetic rubber compound that resists slippage even on smooth, finished material.
