Here are some essential tips for soy wax candle care: 1. **Trim the Wick**: Before lighting your soy wax candle, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch (0.6 cm). This helps prevent excessive smoke, soot, and uneven burning. 2. **First Burn Matters**: During the first burn, allow the candle to melt across the entire surface, creating a wax pool that reaches the edges of the container. This prevents tunneling, where the candle burns down the center, leaving unused wax along the sides. 3. **Burn Time**: Avoid burning your soy wax candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
