It is equivalent to a 4/0 thread and allows for fewer winds and more texture while fly tying or rod wrapping, making Naples silk extremely popular with bamboo rod builders. 189 denier (4/0 equivalent) 45-50 meter spool (50 yds) Please note: Pearsall's threads are becoming increasingly harder to find.
